Eindelijk halen singles als Something For The Weekend en The Frog Princess de hogere regionen van de charts en biedt de band rondom Neil Hannon de mogelijkheid om in grotere zalen op te treden. Dat The Divine Comedy daar thuishoort bewijzen ze wel in de opzet van A Short Album About Love.
