Tussen 1979 en 1982 leverde Motörhead de ene na de andere klassieke hardrockplaat af. Na Iron Fist vond gitarist Eddie Clarke het welletjes en vertrok. De vacature werd ingevuld door Brian Robertson. Dat was een zeer opmerkelijke keuze van Lemmy. Robertson was vooral bekend dankzij de melodieuze hardrockband Thin Lizzy, maar werd uit die band geschopt wegens wangedrag. De overstap naar het staccato geram van Motörhead oogstte destijds nogal wat gefronste wenkbrauwen. De samenwerking resulteerde in het voor Motörhead begrippen melodieuze Another Perfect Day. Veertig jaar later klinkt het album toch wel als een typisch Motörhead album dat geen uitschieter in positieve of negatieve zin is binnen hun oeuvre. Nummers...
