De jonge Nederlandse saxofonist Kasper Rietkerk is de grote nieuwe naam in de Nederlandse jazz. Een ongelooflijk groot jazztalent dat na de pandemie besloot naar Londen te verhuizen om daar zijn muzikale studie voort te zetten. Het bleek een uitstekende stap die na zijn debuut the island van vorig jaar, nu leidt naar zijn wonderschone tweede album The Happy Worrier. Natuurlijk was the island al een veelbelovend debuut. Met onder meer Emma Rawitz op tenorsax, die de afgelopen jaren ook haar doorbraak naar een groter publiek had, kwam Rietkerk al uitstekend naar voren als erg goede saxofonist en songwriter.
