Nadat het in Amsterdam gevestigde zestal van Darlyn in 2015 Fallow Land uitbrengt gaat het heel snel met de band, misschien wel iets te snel. Een geslaagde aanstekelijke vierde single Stepping Stone volgt, die de rauwheid met het juiste gevoel voor laidback hit potentie mengt. Hun interpretatie van het heavy bluesy geluid wordt veelvoudig op de radio gedraaid, en ze worden een veelgevraagde studio act. En terecht, die plek ligt Darlyn perfect, lekker klein intiem en met direct contact. Deze kracht kunnen ze juist nu met veredelde huiskamersessies volledig uitbuiten.
