Sinds Roger Waters begin dit jaar zijn magnum opus The Wall in zijn geheel opvoerde in het GelreDome, staat het gelijknamige Pink Floyd album weer volop in de belangstelling. The Wall is het meest verkochte dubbelalbum aller tijden. Maar wie regelmatig een tweedehands platenwinkel bezoekt, kan ook constateren dat het een album is dat uit het oeuvre van Pink Floyd het vaakst weer wordt weggedaan. Is de klassieker wel zo geniaal als 'ie de boeken in is gegaan? Tijdens een Pink Floyd concert in Montreal in 1977 was het publiek zo irritant, dat Roger Waters – die in het geheel niet hield van spelen in grote stadions – uit frustratie...
