Hoe heerlijk! Een nieuwe Tindersticks! En het was nog maar net iets meer dan een jaar geleden dat we ons mochten verwarmen aan No Treasure But Hope. Dat was een album dat een directe sound had en dat de mens als thema in meerdere opzichten centraal stelde. Het is een jaar geweest waarin de mens in meerdere facetten weer centraal stond. Of dat nu was in de confrontatie met het coronavirus, of de sociaal-maatschappelijke (en politieke) gebeurtenissen over de hele wereld, er gebeurde nogal wat.
