Fenomenale rapperplaat hier van Tyler, the Creator! 16 fantastische, als patchwork met gouddraad aan elkaar gemixtapete songs in verblindend flashy multicolor. Tyler is al lang niet meer 't verguisde, gore vuilbekje van z'n beginjaren, wilde hiphopper soms nog, dat wel, maar intussen ontbolsterd als een uniek, modern multitalent en bovendien zelfs gekend tot ver buiten de grenzen van z'n muziek. In de hip-hop hoort ie al bij de allergrootsten. Al jaren geduldig met zijn ideeën aan de slag, heeft ie invloeden allerhande opgezogen, verschillende stijlen afgetoetst.
