Mooi progressief jazz collectief, dat High Pulp uit Los Angeles. En lekker productief ook. Ruim een jaar na hun tweede album Pursuit of Ends (de opvolger van het in 2018 in eigen beheer uitgebrachte Bad Juice) komt de band nu al met Days in the Desert. De sound van High Pulp is dan wel gedrenkt in de jazz, ze voegen daar net zo gemakkelijk invloeden uit de indierock, hiphop en electronic en heerlijke ritmes en grooves aan toe, waardoor de sound steeds weer breed en atmosferisch en psychedelisch uitwaaiert.
