Soms kan je mond gewoon van verbazing openvallen. Bij muziek niet zelden om hoe het binnen komt. En dat komt hier door de opeenvolging van de eerste twee nummers van het jongste album van Beardfish. Het heerlijk bijna pastoraal klinkende Ecotone laat de stem van Rikard Sjöblom al horen en koppelt er de mooie stem van Amanda Örtenhag aan die het nummer al extra diepte en kleuring geeft en de sfeer oproept van klanken uit de jaren Zeventig, inderdaad, van de vorige eeuw. Net als het nummer afgelopen is, horen we eerst voorzichtige pianoklanken die al snel vergezeld worden door gedreven drums en een heerlijke bas. De ouverture van Out...
